Moonlight trotted into love struck hills. He winnied, a bugel from his chest,
"Lightning, a new year has come, and time for a new life had begun. If you would like to breed this year, we can."
The big gray hoped that his white lead mare whould want to breed with him. He stood there, mane flowing in the breeze, his craineia held proudly high.

Lightning appeared. She threw her dial happily, and winnied to her mate,
"I would, if thee would like to."
Her shiny white coat glimmered in the sunlight and her blue orbs sparkled. Then she nickered again,
"And you know, I love you."
She pressed her pelt against his warm gray one. Then she dropped her head to graze on the lush emrald blades on the hill.

Moonlight rumbled happily. He was glad to have a mate who loved 'im. 'E winnied,
"Are you realy Lightning?"
He could not wait. This would mean their first foal, their young one, their baby. He nuzzled Lightning happily.

Lightning winnied happily as he nuzzled her,
"As ready as I'll ever be."
She nudged his barrel gently, waiting for him to do his part.

Moonlight felt her words, felt her nudge him foward. He looked calm on the outside, but on the inside he was bustleing with impatience and love for the mare. He walked behind the mare and mounted her. His part done, he dismounted. 'E winnied to 'er,
"Let us meet up again in the foaling areas. I will be there for you."
He nudged her thick barrel where he knew their baby was growing, even at the moment. He stood by her side, waiting for her reply.

She knew he loved her. But she had underestimated how much. A tear trickled down her cheak, but it was a tear of happyness, not sorrow. She ncikered gently to him,
"Okay. I love you."
Her words came straight from her heart. She would bear this stallion's foal, and bear it proudly. She nuzzled him and began walking towards the foaling brimble.
